The average cost per American for healthcare insurance is $7,600. Many Americans prefer private insurance healthcare as we have it now. Other Americans prefer Medicare for all.
So let's have a choice. Any American who wants single payer healthcare (medicare) will have it. Any American who would prefer private insurance will receive an annual check for $7,600 to go buy private healthcare.
Everybody wins. No muss. No fuss.
Note: Medicare means no co payments, not deductibles, no limits win healthcare costs. With private insurance all of these costs depend on the policy.
