We have an exciting opportunity available for a Full-time Tennis Maintenance Associate. Our Tennis Maintenance Associates are courteous and hard-working, with our primary focus on providing the best possible experience for our membership through the presentation of the tennis courts and overall facility. Similar to all positions at Charlotte Country Club, a successful tenure will be a result of excellent teamwork, a positive attitude, and professionalism. Must be available to work weekdays, evenings and/or weekends. Essential Functions: General landscaping responsibilities: blowing leaves, keeping all grass areas cut and neatly edged, trimming small trees and limbs back from the tennis court fencing Special projects: Sanding and staining tennis court benches, pressure washing walkway, small repairs and organizing tasks Grooming the tennis courts with broom and liner Checking and replacing coolers, trash, towels, and cups All other tennis court duties to prepare for membership use: rolling tennis courts, occasionally replacing tennis nets, occasionally putting up or taking down windscreens and court signs, and other specific on-court cleaning tasks Qualifications: High attention to detail Strong communication and listening skills Excellent teamwork, service, and hospitality required Ability to perform physical work, including many hours on your feet at a time, bending, and occasional heavy lifting of items up to 50 pounds Ability to operate some heavy machinery: tennis court roller, as well as some general landscaping tools: mower, string trimmer/edger, leaf vacuum, etc. Benefits: Team Members at Charlotte Country Club are a friendly group of professionals!
