Alchemy After Dark Vol. 3: CAPITAL - A curated conversation about the role and importance of capital.
We all know there's more to Milwaukee than beer, cheese and sports. There are also people with big ideas who want the opportunity for success-- hungry entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. The goal of these discussions has been to highlight that there are more ways to support startups beyond capital.
We've met previously to discuss the importance of time and in-kind resources like space for entrepreneurs. Physical space such as offices or incubators that provide hands-on experience so those just starting out can make an impact early on. Our discussion in August focused on the importance of time. Mentorship, connections and a chance to explore one's ideas through partnership opportunities can be hugely beneficial to a startup.
On Tuesday, September 28th, join us for Volume III the finale of our three part series on increasing capital and investing resources into startups. Join us for an intimate discussion on the importance of financial resources that drive entrepreneurship at every stage. Our panel of speakers include: Ed Javier, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program Director at WEDC; Forest Richter, Founder/CEO of Uncrowd and Fresh Coast Labs; and Dana Guthrie, Managing Partner at Gateway Capital Partners. Together they will share their insights about the importance of capital within the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Milwaukee.
