Position Summary Loading position is an entry level supervisory position. Loaders are responsible for the overall Shipping/Loading and Receiving/Unloading of goods. It is an evening shift position with weekends (Sunday morning) required. Duties & Responsibilities • Responsible for supervising a team composed of Stacker and loaders. • Using receiving software counts merchandise that is offloaded from various routes. • Responsible for ensuring that goods are returned to their corresponding location. • Loads routes making sure to follow all route instructions and accurately load correct quantities of merchandise ordered. • Seeks management approval of route prior to closing truck • Uses appropriate tools (straps/positioning) to secure goods for safe transporting • Responsible for overall dock order, cleanliness and safety. • Participates in the discipline, coaching, counseling of team members ensuring compliance with company rules and regulations. • Communicates with Manager as issues arise Knowledge, Skill and Abilities • Ability to safely carry, push and pull a minimum of 50 to 80 pounds on a regular basis and/or while being assisted by others • Attentive to details • Ability to follow directions or written instructions • Ability to work long hours and/or varying shifts (evenings, weekends) • Ability to Stand, walk and reach for extended hours • Ability to work with minimal supervision exercising independent judgment Schedule Available: Monday to Friday 5:00pm – 1:30 am; Sunday 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
