Join us for an opportunity to deepen one's capacity to connect with self and others through expanding one's use of eCPR. On Our Own of Frederick and project: liberation would like to invite you to participate in Emotional CPR (eCPR) Practice Immersion. This course offers 3 MABPCB approved credits. 3 MABPCB CEUs. .5 CEUs Advocacy .5 CEUs Mentoring/Education 2 CEUs Recovery/Wellness. Early-bird registration: $5. After September 20, $25 registration. The one-day Emotional CPR (eCPR) Practice Immersion training is designed to teach individuals how to assist others through an emotional crisis using 3 simple steps: Connecting: deepening listening skills, practicing presence, and creating a sense of safety for the person experiencing a crisis EmPowering: helping people better understand how to feel empowered themselves and to assist others to feel more hopeful and engaged in life Revitalizing: experiencing a return of liveliness after being emotionally numb, with the power of freed emotions nourishing new creativity, dreams and hope. eCPR is an educational program that aims to help us to better understand and respond to emotional crises and the complex behaviors that may accompany them. eCPR has been developed by a diverse team of recognized peer leaders from the U.S. and internationally, who themselves have learned how to recover and grow from emotional crises. A 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Frederick County, We provide peer support to those with mental health and substance use challenges.
