Comedy Workshop with Carol Zoccoli Improbable Comedy is presenting a comedy workshop with comedian, actor, producer and writer Carol Zoccoli. This is a class geared for stand up comedians and is open to performers of all levels who want to up their stand up game. In this three hour class tailored to the participants' level and preferences, performers will learn skills from improvisation and stage presence to incorporating storytelling in your stand-up performances. Participants will also have the chance to get feedback from Carol Zoccoli. Sunday September 19th, 11am - 2pm Location: Main Street Pearl, Takoma Park Advance Registration only. ---------------- Carol Zoccoli is a comedian and writer who has worked professionally in Brazil, Toronto and is now based in New York City. She was a founding cast member, writer and Weekend Update host for Saturday Night Live Brazil. She released a Netflix special in Brazil and is part of a Comedy Central panel show called “A Culpa é da Carlota.” Carol has been performing in North America since 2015, including at JFL42, Atlanta’s Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and the NBC Breakout Festival in Chicago. She graduated from Second City’s Conservatory Program, and is a contributing writer for CBC Comedy. She has taught comedy and improv in Portuguese and English since 2015.
