Breath & sound are the first experiences when awakening into our human experience. Combine the two in a mindful state for deep healing. Breath is the first awakening into our human experience outside the womb. Sound is what moved through our bodies without conscious understanding. Combine the two and we create space for healing. During a breathwork ceremony, one may feel in an altered state of mind, a cathartic release from emotional or physical pain, and others may feel totally relaxed and at peace. In this ceremony we will be combining breath with the healing vibrations of the gong; one of the oldest sound instruments used to induce shamanic states of mind and to root one down into the earth. Together we will journey through these natural altered states of mind and process stored emotions and sensations that have been blocking our minds and bodies. May our minds be at ease. May our energy centers become balanced. May our physical bodies feel safe. Please bring a pillow, blanket and water bottle! If you desire a bolster for your knee or other supports, please feel free to bring whatever you need! Panthers’ Gate is a martial art and metaphysical sanctuary that awakens self-healing for all students of life. Our vision is to empower students to heal from past traumas, build self-discipline, and take control of their own lives propelling them towards a new way of being.
