The Superintendent for Commercial roofing is responsible for the quality assurance of each job from start to finish. This requires strong attention to detail and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. This position reports directly to the General Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide an excellent customer experience while managing projects from start to close out Scheduling of jobs with General Manager Participates in job pre-construction meeting and overall job set-up Supervises crews and or subcontractors Develops roofing details for specific job conditions when needed Ensures accuracy of field folder when submitted by Project Manager Implements Company policies as they pertain to subcontractors and monitors their compliance with such policies Ensures that crew and/or subcontractors are following job specifications, safety procedures, PRC roofing procedures, job clean-up, etc. Reviews pay requests from subcontractors for billing accuracy and approves these pay requests before Project Manager reviews billing Identifies any problems occurring on jobs and reports suck problems to General Manager and Project Manager Required to be at the job site and on the roof with the crews and/or subcontractor at all times (unless supervising multiple jobs) Report hours of workers per PRC policies Ensure PRC safety procedures are being followed Submit daily reports for each assigned project Provide accurate equipment and tool inventory lists to Warehouse Manager REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience as a commercial roofing superintendent 10+ years of experience in commercial roofing Expert knowledge of commercial roof systems and installation best practices Strong understanding of all safety requirements and Florida Building Codes Strong ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired accurate results Experience using Office 365, Acculynx, and other online tools to project manage, document, and communicate with customers and project teams COMPENSATION Pay based on experience PRC phone, iPad, laptop and gas card Company wrapped vehicle or $500/mo. car allowance (magnetic signs on personal truck) Individual health insurance, half-paid by company Paid-Time-Off (PTO): One (1) week of paid vacation after one year Two (2) weeks paid vacation after two year Three (3) weeks of paid vacation after five years Seven (7) paid holidays per year and five (5) paid sick days per year
