Join Lil' Miss Story Hour as we celebrate Latinx Heritage month and gender expression through a variety of fantastic art experiences! On Saturday September 25, 2021, Lil’ Miss Story Hour will host story time at the 1st Annual Dear Summer Fest! Lil' Miss Story Hour will be celebrating the beauty of Latinx culture as well as the joy of gender expression with a variety of artists, art forms, crafts, presenters, and picture books! Explorations include but are not limited to writing, illustrations, mathematics, music, and social experiences. Book selections will include “Me, Frida" by Amy Novesky; "Pink is for Boys" by Robb Pearlmanni; "Maiden and Princess" by Daniel Haack; and "Phoenix Goes to School," by Michelle Finch and Phoenix Finch. Our special guests will be, Poet and Activist, Xarly El Collibri MC; Poet and Artist, Kim Hoadley; and Art Educator and Artist, Tara Gonzalez. Mark your calendars and bring the kiddos!
