Lauderdale, Dania Beach, Hollywood, FL Description: The Vehicle Services Attendant performs vehicle upkeep and delivery services in a vehicle rental facility. He or she refuels and cleans the interior of rental cars, washes the exterior of the vehicle, inspects cars for damage, checks tire tread depth, and delivers vehicles to the customers. *Status: Contractor *Hiring for: Full-time, Part-time (Available to work on weekend) *Position: Vehicle Services Attendant *PT Positions available *Location: Ft. Lauderdale Airport *Pay: $10.00 hour REQUIREMENTS: • Must be at least 21 years of age! • Must be available to work weekends, Saturdays, and/or Sundays. • Must have a valid US Driver's License for a minimum of 3 years with a good driving history. • Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a vehicle day or night and in all weather conditions. • Must be able to communicate by telephone, two-way radios. • Must be able to read, understand, and complete driver trip sheets and other documents. • A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment. Full Job Description We are currently looking to fill Vehicle Services Attendant positions available at our Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, FL locations. Full-Time and Part-Time Available. Vehicle Services Attendant is responsible for operating and delivering cars, vans, trucks, and other vehicles as instructed by their lead driver and/or manager on duty. Some duties and responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following: • Drives various size vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, and following all rules of the road. • Checking in new vehicles, inspecting them for body damage, take documentation pictures, and following check-in/out procedures. • Drives various size vehicles to and from car wash and maintenance areas and follows safety instructions and procedures. • Responsible for not talking on phones, texting, or using earpieces while driving the vehicle. • Keeps the vehicle in good condition when not in use by turning off air conditioning and lights.
