To whom it may concern, My name is Joe, and I am a 23 year old college student working part time at a Pizzeria in Mineola, NY. We make fresh food constantly throughout the day; but sadly, anything left over gets thrown out when the store closes. The majority of our employees that close, take food home for themselves and their families. But there is always so much that gets wasted. It saddens me to see so much food wasted. Some nights we could literally feed several whole families, but it ends up being disposed of. My goal here is to help struggling families that have a hard time putting food on the table. I understand the struggles of this life and wish to pay it forward. I work Wednesday-Friday closing, and would be able to bring your family all that extra food.
