Startup Sioux Falls is back with another fan favorite—the Startup Social! Join us on Thursday, September 30th, for a special two year anniversary edition of our signature networking event at the venue where it all began—Queen City Bakery! The festivities will run from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and will feature updates from key startup ecosystem organizations on what’s happening in our community as well as free food and drink. As always, the purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for those in the Sioux Falls Startup ecosystem to connect and network with others in our community. The following featured speakers will share 3-4 minute updates each starting at 5:00 PM: Brienne Maner, Executive Director of Startup Sioux Falls, will provide an update regarding the organization's relocation and priorities for the year ahead.Nick Fickbohm, Business Consultant with the Enterprise Institute, will talk about programs and events for entrepreneurs, including how to access startup capital from the SD Angel Network.Beth Lambeth, Technology Transfer Officer at USD, will speak about efforts to create an Entrepreneur in Residence Program for the region.Katherine Cota, Director of Paulson Center at DSU will talk about how they are giving the next generation of entrepreneurs the tools they need to see success.Please register for this free event on Eventbrite so we have an accurate headcount.
