WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough is one of two area school districts reporting only two new COVID-19 cases since the start of school. Westborough reports a total of two new COVID-19 cases from Sept. 6 to Sept. 10. One case was a student and one was a staff member, according to the district's dashboard. Hopkinton has also had only two new cases reported between Sept. 1 to Sept. 15, according to Hopkinton's dashboard. Both cases were at Marathon Elementary, one on Sept. 3 and one on Sept. 13. Northborough & Southborough School District has had seven total new COVID-19 cases, including three at Algonquin High School, from Sept. 1 to Sept. 12 . The district releases numbers weekly on its dashboard. Holliston has seen nine new COVID-19 cases during the first 10 days of school. According to the district's dashboard, the nine cases were between Sept. 1 and Sept. 10, at the elementary and middle schools with no cases reported for Holliston High School. The Grafton School District reports 16 new COVID-19 cases since the start of school. There were eight cases between Aug. 30 to Sept. 3, four cases from Sept. 4 to Sept. 10, and four cases from Sept. 11 to Sept. 15. Weekly updates can be found on the district's COVID-19 dashboard. Shrewsbury School District has reported 18 new COVID-19 cases during the first two weeks of school, according to School Superintendent Joe Sawyer. Numbers are updated every Monday at the district's dashboard.
