Drake Community Library is excited to announce the return of in-person Story Time on Wednesday September 15 at 10:30 am! Drake Community Library is excited to announce the return of in-person Story Time on Wednesday September 15 at 10:30 am. Babies and preschool-aged children will enjoy songs and stories. At the end of Story Time, kids can grab a snack to enjoy at home. Weather permitting, Story Time will be outdoors on the patio, otherwise we will meet in the Story Room. Masks are encouraged for those aged 2 and over. Going forward, Story Times will take place in four week sessions, with around two weeks off in-between each session. To attend Story Time in any session, registration on EventBrite is required, with a 25-person limit. This limit includes caregivers and children. No drop-ins will be permitted. We are currently holding registration for Story Times on Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Sept. 28, and Oct. 6. If the 25-person limit is met, you can choose to be placed on a waitlist that is first-come-first-serve. Watch for announcements about additional Story Time sessions through the Fall/Winter.
