Dedham Civic Pride Welcomes Two New Sponsors

Dedham Civic Pride has added two new sponsors to their sponsorship family. Eric Hawkes, realtor with William Raveis Real Estate and Jen Paratore of Cordaville Realty both have Sponsor-A-Spot sites in Dedham Square. Eric's site is at the corner of Providence Highway and Eastern Ave. Eric resides in Dedham with my wife, Kathryn, and two boys, CJ (6) and Cameron (4). An athletic family who loves to run, hike, and play any sport they can, especially golf and basketball. They also enjoy being involved in their community, whether it be volunteering for various community organizations or being involved with youth sports. Jen Paratore of Cordaville Realty has a Sponsor-A-Spot at the corner of Church and Court Street. Jen grew up in the Riverdale section of Dedham, attended Dedham High School then went on to Northeastern University, majoring in International Affairs and Economics with a minor in Law, Policy and Society. Jen also attended the London School of Economics, with a concentration in Public Policy and was a Hansard Scholar. Jen worked in commercial construction management for several years before pivoting into residential real estate in 2012. Jen was a consistent top producing agent for several luxury real estate brands and was featured as a 2015 "Agents of Change" in The Boston Globe. The Sponsor-A-Spot program is the most visible program of Dedham Civic Pride where traffic islands, rotaries, and pocket parks under the care of Dedham Civic Pride are planted, weeded, and maintained throughout the town. Sponsorships of the spots help to defray the cost of the maintenance. The remaining costs are covered through Dedham Civic Pride's membership drives and special event fundraisers.
