DANVERS, MA — Longtime Boston television reporter Susan Wornick will be the guest speaker during a special talk at The Linden at Danvers on Thursday afternoon.
Wornick, a former WCVB-TV reporter who worked in television for 34 years before her retirement, will talk about "The Challenges of an Aging Parent" during an appearance Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
During her career at WCVB, she worked as a midday news anchor, consumer reporter and was a founding member of Team 5 Investigates.
She will be speaking Thursday on the ups and downs of being a caretaker for her aging mother.
"We're thrilled to have such a beloved representative of Massachusetts here at the Linden," said Shane Thomas, Sales Manager for the Linden at Danvers. "Susan knows firsthand how demanding it can be to care for someone you love who is aging, and we're looking forward to hearing her perspective."
This is an outdoor event with face masks required for attendance. Temperatures will also be checked for guests.
