TAMPA, FL — For the second day in a row, the Tampa Fire Rescue's hazardous incidents team has been called out to avert a catastrophe.
At 6:22 a.m. Tuesday, the team responded to a punctured buried gas line in the 3000 block of South Dale Mabry Highway.
The puncture was caused by a fence installation crew that unintentionally damaged the line.
The problem was remedied with no one sustaining any injuries.
On Tuesday, a gas leak at a Hyde Park business forced the evacuation of a shopping plaza.
