Fully Promoted of Arbutus has an immediate opening for a Production Assistant. Weekly hours will be variable but will be at least 24 hrs. per week. Starting salary will be $13.50/hour. Fully Promoted of Arbutus is a Promotional Products Distributor, with custom embroidery and screen-printing done in-house in our facility in Arbutus. Our production assistant's job duties will primarily consist of: 1. Pre- and post- apparel production assistance. A. Inventory and sort undecorated apparel B. Trim and steam embroidered garments, as needed C. Stack garments for screen printing D. Sort, fold, inventory, quality-check, and box finished garments E. Call customers for pickup of orders 2. Heat-press work A. Apply heat transfers B. Operate vinyl cutter, weed and apply cut vinyl 3. Receiving and shipping A. Unpack undecorated apparel as it is delivered, sort by job, and inventory B. Pack, weigh, measure, and label outbound shipments 4. Assist with light warehouse maintenance and cleaning This job requires the ability to lift and move cartons of moderate weight (up to 30 lbs) on a regular basis. We have some flexibility with work hours, however, it is expected that our production assistant will work the bulk of their hours weekdays between 10 AM and 4 PM when our apparel production is most active. Need to have: good sense of humor, energy, a good work ethic, and full covid-19 vaccination prior to hiring.
