Press release from the JAX Chamber: September 15, 2021   Speakers will include local and nationally recognized thought leaders in diverse sectors, and citizens, business and community leaders, advocates, elected officials, educators, faith-based leaders, nonprofit leaders and members of law enforcement and the justice system are expected to attend.   Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed that creating a beloved community requires a "qualitative change in our souls and a quantitative change in our lives." The Racial Healing and Reconciliation Conference will engage participants in a safe, non-judgmental space, for conversations and solutions that provide a deeper understanding of the impact of race in our community and the necessity of compassion and empathy to grow stronger by moving forward, together, towards greater equality.
