9 weeks of Expecting Mommy Health & Wellness Classes. These classes are offered free to expectant mothers! Join us for a fun filled hour! Each week there will be a new topic of discussion for Expectant mothers to take in. During these weeks mother's are encouraged to attend any one of the classes. Each week of attendance expectant mothers will receive a raffle ticket to enter into the raffle held on the last day of class. The more classes you attend, the more chances to win. On the last day of class the theme will be a 3 hour baby shower event! Expectant mothers can join with spouse and enjoy a free lunch, groceries, hear multiple speakers and vendors share information and then receive gift baskets provided by High Desert Second Chance. This class will have a raffle on its last day. This class raffle is separate from the Baby shower. If a person shows up on the last day then they get a raffle 1 ticket (that day) If a person has taken all 7 classes they get 7 raffle tickets. So the more classes you take the bigger chance you have of winning. Rose of Sharon/Moses House/ Domestic Violence Shelter To encourage our mothers to take classes they are given a raffle ticket for each class they attend. Women who are signed up for classes at the above places will get a raffle ticket for each class they attend. For example- they attend 5 classes at one of the above sites and 5 Health n Wellness Classes then they will get 10 raffle tickets at the Baby Shower. BabyShower 1 raffle ticket for each class they have attended The more classes you attend the more chances you have to win. If you attend 1 class and attend the baby shower you get only 2 tickets 1 for the class and 1 for the shower. If you attend 4 classes at Moses House and 3 Health and wellness classes you get 7 tickets Each site has a signup sheet when the signup sheet is turned in it will tell us how many classes the parent has attended at that site. Totals will be combined the week of November 9th so we will know when a person signs in how many tickets to give them. BABY SHOWER EXCEPTIONS If a mother is living at or signed up at the Domestic violence shelter and has just had her baby she can sign up for classes and attend the baby shower. ------------------------------------ Expectant Mothers Health & Wellness 9 week classes Let's give our babies a great head start to life!
