STAMFORD, CT — Residents in Fairfield County might be having trouble trying to reach hospitals, schools or police stations due to an outage with Frontier Communications, according to News 12.
The Stamford Police Department said they are aware of the outage.
"We have been made aware of a significant AT&T outage in the Fairfield County area. If you have AT&T and are trying to call Stamford 911 and not getting through, please try calling 203-977-4444, or use a different phone. #StamfordCT, @StamAdvocate, @News12, @Stamforddowntown"— Stamford Police (@StamfordPolice) September 15, 2021 The Fairfield Police Department said in a tweet Wednesday morning that Frontier reported a fiber issue and was unable to provide a restoration time.
