The Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix was created in 2013 to facilitate a community-based approach to the provision of safe, effective and efficient patient care throughout Arizona. Our mission is to bring together an interdisciplinary faculty to address key areas in education, clinical service, and research with a focus on applied informatics approaches and solutions.
