Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble George Vosburgh, Director Stephen Story, Associate Director Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble George Vosburgh, Director Stephen Story, Associate Director Julieta Ugartemendia, conductor The Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble utilizes a flexible instrumentation of winds, brass, and percussion to perform repertoire from standard concert band works to contemporary compositions of various instrumental combinations. Program: Robert Spittal Consort for Ten Winds Richard Strauss Serenade in Eb major, Op. 7 Francis Poulenc Suite Francaise, d’après Claude Gervaise (XVI siècle) Chris Meyer Fundy Ned Rorem Sinfonia for 15 Winds Leonard Bernstein Prelude, Fugue and Riffs Attendance at School of Music ensemble performances (Philharmonic, Wind Ensemble, etc.) is limited to CMU students, faculty and staff.  You must have a CMU email address to order tickets. All concert attendees must be vaccinated and masked while indoors, in accordance with the current CMU pandemic posture. Orders from a non-CMU email address will be canceled.
