mechanical contracting
company, recently
partnered with
manufacturing company
TEDOM to support the
advancement of Combined
Heat and Power (CHP) and
Micro Combined Heat and
Power (mCHP) technology in
the U.S. to make energy-efficient mCHP a more
-accessible option for facilities throughout
North America.
Lima has designed their
own system utilizing TEDOM’s 35
-kW mCHP unit in its Northeast
Philadelphia headquarters. With the
installation of mCHP, Lima is expected to reduce its incremental cost of an aggregate
unit (heat and electricity) of energy by 47.6%
by generating it through cogeneration as
opposed to conventional means.
