Description

Annual pet blessing in honor of St. Francis, the patron Saint of animals and ecology. Bring your furry, finned, or feathered friends to the Franciscan Center's annual Blessing of the Animals on Friday, October 1st. 5pm-7pm. Acoustic music by Ray Gurka starts at 5pm at our riverside pavilion. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and a picnic along with their well behaved pets. Blessings from the friars at Sacred Heart Church, Tampa, will be on hand to perform the blessings at 6pm. Can't bring a pet? A picture or stuffed animal will do! 3010 N. Perry Ave. Tampa.
