Opinions wanted on older, smaller 4WD vehicle

Just looking for opinions on an older, smaller truck or SUV for an older, smaller couple (needs to be easy to get in/out of). Needs to be a 4wd. I know from experience that older Honda CRVs are great but difficult to find (great resell value). I won't be looking at any Jeep products. Please don't try to sell me anything but I am just looking to hear opinions (good or bad). Thank you.
