THE POSITION The Cleaning Guys - CG Environmental is looking for full-time Rail Car Clean-Up Technicians in the Tulsa and surrounding area. As a Technician, you will work with a variety of equipment to help protect and clean the rail car. Typical responsibilities are as follows: 1. Respond to Rail Car cleanup with flexibility to work non-standard hours when needed for rotation and emergency response 2. Prepare job sites for hazardous materials removal and disposal 3. Run various pieces of machinery/equipment in performing cleaning services. 4. Ability to use monitors to verify a clean environment after removal or to assess conditions. 5. Collection, packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste 6. Demonstrate safe work practices and avoid unsafe behaviors This is an hourly position with a 90-day probationary period. Upon completion of probation, company benefits include personal leave and holiday pay, paid life/health insurance for employee and 401K participation. Pre-employment and random drug screenings are required. Safety training will be provided. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS • Strong work ethic • Ability to communicate effective both orally and in writing • Ability to work within a team or independently as required • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record • Ability to lift at least 35 pounds • Flexibility to work non-standard hours • Medically qualified to wear a respirator and able to obtain a satisfactory respirator fit test • Able to work in extreme conditions (i.e. heat, cold) • 40 hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred (training can be provided) • 10 hour OSHA training preferred (training can be provided) High School graduate and/or GED preferred
