SANTA MONICA, CA — Los Angeles County Department of Public Health officials extended their ocean water use warning Tuesday night near the Santa Monica Pier and Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey.
"The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," public health officials said.
People are still urged to be careful playing or swimming in the ocean near Mother's Beach and the Santa Monica Pier.
