SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The body of a 30-year-old man was found Tuesday evening after he was swept off the rocks at Panther State Beach Tuesday.
This is the second time in three days that a beachgoer was swept to sea near Davenport.
Witnesses called 911 to report the man had gone into the ocean around 4 p.m., the Cal Fire San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit said on Twitter. The body was spotted shortly before 6 p.m., but swimmers could not reach him.
