SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped one-tenth of a cent Wednesday for the second consecutive day — hitting $4.346, its lowest amount since Aug. 26.
The average price is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 1 cent lower than one month ago but $1.129 more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen $1.119 since the start of the year.
The average price has dropped five consecutive days, decreasing nine-tenths of a cent.
