HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is the information from the police reports: Thomas W. O'Connell, 62, of Western Springs, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., on a charge of trespassing. According to a police report, O'Connell refused to leave the hospital and was combative with staff. He refused to comply with police and resisted arrest. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Luis Jose Ciprian, 39, of Blue Island, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of East 55th Street on charges of felony aggravated DUI (third violation), driving with a revoked license, transportation of open alcohol by a driver, improper lane use, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. According to a police report, officers were responding to a property damage accident when they came into contact with Ciprian. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was in possession of a cooler containing open cans of beer. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Reginald Harris, 49, of Chicago, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of East 55th Street on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane use. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Harris' and Ciprian's arrests were the same time and place. A resident in the 400 block of North Bruner Place informed police Friday that someone attempted to withdraw $8,500 from the resident's bank account using the victim's identity. The victim was alerted to the attempted withdrawal and blocked the transaction. No loss was reported. A resident in the 600 block of North Elm Street told police Sept. 7 that someone opened a credit card account using the resident's identity and made charges totaling $3,559.
