Sign Gypsies Puget Sound (SGPS) provides customizable yard sign rentals for celebrations and significant events. This includes birthdays, anniversaries, baby births - you name it! We provide our service to homes and businesses throughout Snohomish County and the Eastside. Our business is rapidly growing, and we are building a team of dedicated helpers who will manage the design, installation, and collection of our custom yard signs. This work is periodic and seasonal, so it is ideal for a stay-at-home parent, empty nester, grandparent, or college student who has a flexible schedule and wants to make some additional income. We also welcome individuals with developmental or physical disabilities, provided they can fulfill the primary responsibilities below (on their own or with assistance). Job Responsibilities Include: * Picking up sign inventory from Bothell storage location * Transporting and installing the yard signs as per specified directions/customer requests * Pick up the yard the following day and deliver them back to the Bothell storage location. Signs are usually rented for one night although customers sometimes pay for extra days. Job Requirements Include: * Have your own (or access to) reliable transportation with enough space to store/transport the signs without damage. * Be willing and able to deliver/set/pickup within the coverage area: South Snohomish County (Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mukilteo, Everett Mill Creek) Eastside (Bothell, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Sammamish) * Be available to deliver/set up signs between 7 pm and 10 pm; the sign will remain up for one day, and sign pickup will be between 9 am – Noon the following day. * Be available in all weather conditions (signs are installed/picked up regardless of rain, cold, or heat!) * Physical requirements include loading/unloading materials, bending/kneeling to install signs, pushing (and occasionally hammering) sign stakes into lawns. * Must have a good attitude and be patient as you set up the sign. Remember the work we do brings joy, smiles, and memories! Compensation: Compensation is $25 for each sign installation and $15 for each takedown/pickup. Helpers may also receive (and keep) tips provided by customers. Gas/mileage is not included. Note: Sign installations will initially take between 15-60 minutes (depending on the size/complexity).
