FORT WORTH, TX — First responders were unable to resuscitate a pedestrian killed after being struck by a motor vehicle overnight in Fort Worth. The victim was killed in a hit-and-run collision, according to police. When first responders arrived on the scene, they administered first aid and CPR but were unable to revive the individual, who has not yet been identified. No car or driver remained at the scene of the incident, which occurred close to 10 p.m. where South Riverside Drive and East Berry Street meet. The suspect remains at large, and identification of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family, although a detective did confirm that the victim was female.
