AUSTIN, TX — Austin police has lifted its shelter-in-place at an east Austin apartment complex after learning a resident at the location is not in danger. Police said they received a 911 call at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday at Timber Apartments, 1034 Clayton Lane, for a report of disturbance hot shot. A resident told police someone who knew a resident at the apartment complex made the call, authorities told reporters Wednesday afternoon. Officers said they believed she was inside her apartment and being held against her will. Eventually, hostage negotiators were able to get ahold of her on the phone and learned she was "OK" and not injured. Officials said an arrest has not been made, as authorities are unsure if a crime occurred. #APD SWAT is currently responding to a barricaded subject call at 1034 Clayton Ln.
