Description
Ozzy is an almost three year old neutered purebred male Doberman, between 75-80 pounds. I rescued him when he was just under a year. He had never been on a leash, worn a collar, rode in a car or been properly socialized. Despite this, he is incredibly sweet, though still a bit shy with new people. He loves everyone he gets to know, likes kids, and is good with small dogs of both genders (great with my male dachshund) and larger females. He does play a bit rough with large dogs when excited. I haven't had him with large males. He was a cryptorchid and had a pretty intensive abdominal surgery to find the retained testicle, but has recovered just fine. He walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, loves to go for hikes and runs, and has excellent off-leash recall. He knows sit and down, but his stay is rusty. He is crate trained and housebroken but I don't leave him free in the house when I'm not home. He has never shown any aggression, just shyness. Up to date on vaccinations. If you're interested in Ozzy please email me. There is a rehoming fee, application and I will require a vet reference.
