Press release from the Wright County Government: September 8, 2021 September in National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and the Minnesota Department of Health is running a campaign to raise awareness. This week's theme is promoting crisis resources available to let those at risk be made aware that they matter. There is a toll-free National Suicide Prevention Lifeline available – 800-273-TALK (8255) or texting MN to 741741 for 24/7 crisis support. Every county in Minnesota provides Mobile Crisis Services for both children and adults that may be experiencing suicidal feelings or in a mental health crisis. In Wright County, that number is 800-635-8008. The monthlong campaign will continue with a new theme each week. Wright County will make residents aware of the campaign throughout the month of September to assist those in crisis and/or with mental help issues to get the help they need.
