Hey there! I'm Dustyn! I am moving to Lafayette in about a month or so and was wondering what the scene is like in the area. Are there any pop punk or midwest emo bands/musicians out here? A little about me.. I am coming from Las Vegas and have years of gigging experience and pro gear aside from a half stack I plan on upgrading. I'm in my early 30's, but have been told I don't look it, since band image matters. I write my own music and feel most comfortable on lead guitar (I'm not some crazy, sweepy soloist or anything), but I am totally fine swapping between lead and rhythm! Some bands I'm into: Knuckle Puck, rationale., Homesafe, The Story So Far, Real Friends, Neck Deep, Hot Mulligan, Moose Blood, Tiny Moving Parts, Free Throw, Homebound, New Found Glory, Sum 41, In Her Own Words, State Champs, blessthefall, Saosin, Funeral For a Friend, A Day to Remember, Belmont, Meet Me @ the Altar, Transit, Modern Baseball, etc.. maybe we have some in common lol?
