YMCA of Bucks County is actively seeking responsible, team oriented, and punctual individuals to lifeguard at our Doylestown location. Come join our dynamic team! Lifeguard Responsibilities: Primarily ensures the safety and surveillance of all pool participantsMaintain cleanliness and organization of pool deckEffectively communicate with members, participants and staffKnow, understand and consistently apply safety procedures for pool and aquatic areaActively scanning to ensure safety of members/campers/participantsSkimming/brushing pool daily Lifeguard Qualifications: At least 16 years oldAmerican Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (preferred)At least 1 year of experience (preferred)Strong swimming backgroundAbility to perform First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided) Days/Hours Needed: Monday - Sunday (Opening, Daytime, Closing and Weekend shifts available) Pay Rate: Opening shifts $13.50/ hour, Regular shifts $10.50-$13.86/ hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Part time, Long-Term Opportunities available, Flexible scheduling *An individual YMCA membership is included with employment* YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer All Qualified Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and US Veterans Encouraged to Apply
