Calling all Beatlemaniacs! Rediscover the magic, music and history when The Beatles performed at Shea Stadium during a program at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, at our Main Branch.
On Aug. 15, 1965, The Beatles made history when they played, sang, sweated and joked before a record crowd of 55,600 fans. Author Dave Schwensen will take everyone behind the scenes and explain how that performance launched the modern era of outdoor stadium shows.
