Press release from the City of Raleigh: Sep 13, 2021 The American Rescue Plan Act 2021 (ARPA) was signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021. This act provides U.S. cities and counties with $130.2 billion through December 31, 2024. The City of Raleigh was awarded $73.2 million dollars that must be spent by December 2026 through the ARPA. We will communicate our funding obligations with regular updates to the ARPA webpage. Here you will find general information about: Funding eligibility Notices of funding availability (NOFA) Reports to the federal government List of previous funding commitments Past City Council presentations  Give us your recommendations Help us rank this once-in-a-generation investment.  On Wednesday, September 15 we will post a budget simulation on the page. You will be able to see what money has already been allocated and use the tool to make recommendations for funding. The City will be providing updates and additional information on these projects on its American Rescue Plan Projects Funding Page. For questions call 919-996-4270.
