Press release from City of Douglasville: 09/15/2021 3:13 PM The Finance Department is busy getting alcohol license renewals ready for 2022. All alcoholic beverage certificates in the City of Douglasville expire on December 31 of each year. A renewal letter is mailed to each licensee and a written application for renewal is due on or before November 15. The license fee shall be paid in full no later than December 31 of each year. If the renewal application is not made by November 15 of each year or if such fees are not paid by December 31 of each year, then an additional $500.00 late fee will be assessed against the licensee. Alcohol licensees should expect renewal paperwork around October 15 via text, email and mail. The Finance Department even has personnel available to walk you through the process.
