Description

PHOENIX, AZ—Arizona's attorney general has filed a lawsuit against President Joe Biden's administration, saying that the directive requiring all businesses with 100 or more employees to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations and tests is unconstitutional. Mark Brnovich says this is the first lawsuit in the nation filed over Biden's announcement last week. The case is filed in the U.S. District Court of Arizona. "We will continue to hold the Biden administration accountable and try to stop this federal overreach, because we need to protect not only Arizona, but the entire United States," he said in a Twitter video. "The AGO argues Biden's vaccine mandate violates the Equal Protection Clause by favoring migrants that have crossed into the country illegally over legal U.S. citizens," a news release from Brnovich's office states. "The Biden Administration allows migrants to decline the vaccine, protecting their freedom and bodily autonomy more than American citizens." You can read the full text of the complaint here.
