PHOENIX— Phoenix Police are looking for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a woman and threw her into a canal on Monday, local media report.
The woman told police she had been jogging when an unknown man attacked her and threw her into the water, 12NEWS reports. Another person helped her out of the canal.
Police say the attack happened just after 7:30 a.m. Monday, near Central and Dunlap avenues on the north side of the city, according to ABC 15.
A police sergeant told ABC 15 the victim described the suspect as a black man between 20 and 30 years old, wearing jeans and a black t-shirt with white stars.
