Description

Hi, 90s (ish) cover band looking for drummer. We're a group of aging from our mid 30s to early 50s I'm the singer and I'm 43. This project was just starting to get off the ground and things didn't work out with our drummer. Looking to hang out / practice once a week and play the occasional show, also maybe have members and their significant others/families over for a cookout once in a while. Some of the bands we're interested in covering: Oasis, Spacehog, Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Superdrag, Hootie, Bush, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, Everclear, The Offspring, Pearl Jam, R.E.M. Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, Third Eye Blind, Green Day, Matthew Sweet, The Pixies, Tonic, U2, The Wallflowers, Matchbox 20, The Verve, EVE 6, Blink 182, Weezer, Havey Danger, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden Live, Incubus, Our Lady Peace, and more... Maybe even a funny cover of Britney or the Backstreet Boys cover or something etc. So, if you've got a sense of humor, aren’t a prima donna, want to do some popular songs, play the occasional show for more than four people, and are looking to make some friends, hang out, and get out of the house one evening a week, hit us up. Please email or text P.S. You also need to be good. We don’t want to waste your time, please don’t waste ours. If you’re just learning, that’s great, keep at it! Playing music is a great hobby… But if you can’t play, this isn’t the band for you. Last of all, and while not necessary, it would be nice to have a stripped down MTV Unplugged style acoustic set so we could also play smaller wine bars and brew pubs, etc.
