Full Job Description Job Title: EVENT STAFF Security Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Pay: From $15.00+ per hour APPLY TODAY AND START TOMORROW!!!!! We are a small Staffing company that is growing we provides guards for multiple events ranging from award shows, productions, retail, and much more Below are tasks that potential candidates will be conducting: 1. Controls access to client site or facility, assists visitors with a legitimate need to gain entry to the facility; screens visitors and employees in an efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site or facility. 2. Provides an atmosphere in which all employees and visitors know that security responds to and cares about their needs; provides a courteous, respectful, and pleasant interaction with each employee and visitor as perceived from their point of view; presents a positive image of the client and company. 3. Communicates in a manner that is open, honest and responsive in all situations; to extend authorized information regarding the site including surrounding areas as requested by visitors. 4. Monitors entrances and exits; prevent unapproved and unlawful entry through observations and notifications; controls the movement of people and vehicles and parking; operates security gates and examines vehicle contents; monitors pedestrian entrances using closed circuit television; operates and access control security system that is used to control the ingress and egress; directs persons who cause a disturbance to leave the property in a calm and courteous manner. 5. Conducts hourly patrols at assigned site on foot; Checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, locked/unlocked doors, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. 6. Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to company management, prepares logs or reports as required for site; inspects security control logs and takes action as required;. REQUIREMENTS ***OPEN AVAILABILITY ***VALID ID AND GUARD CARD ***MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION 1. Strong interpersonal skills 2. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations 3. Ability to be assertive and manage conflict 4.Ability to perform a task that requires frequent shifts in direction 5.
