HiTS develops and manufactures superconductive wire and complementary products and is searching for a Janitor to complete general cleaning of facility and office spaces and keep the interior and exterior of the building well-maintained and in good condition. • Work hours – Flexible during standard business hours – 30 hours a week • Benefits Offered – Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Legal, 401K and Paid Time Off Janitor duties and responsibilities include: • Clean the interior of buildings and offices including floors, windows, and walls. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and paper products, place orders for new products when needed • Empty trash and recycling bins, ensure proper sorting of recyclable materials • Maintain cleanliness of the outdoor areas including the walkways and trash bin enclosure, blow and sweep parking lot • Clean and service restrooms, including replacing waterless restroom fixture filters • Follow the defined COVID safety protocol which includes frequent disinfecting and documenting cleaning activity Requirements • Good communication skills including listening, verbal and written • Follows safety policies • Works independently and manages time well • Able to handle the physical demands of the job including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds Education and Experience Requirements: • At least one year of working experience as a Janitor, preferably in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of hazardous warning signs, high voltage electrical and corrosive fluids and Safety Data Sheets • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment. Experienced with cleanroom maintenance equipment Ultra-pure heap vacuum, lint-less cleaning cloths a plus.
