Greetings! My name is Casey and I love working with children! I have done so in various capacities, from babysitting, to running after school programs, helping children with special needs, nannying, caring for my own two children, and teaching as a Montessori preschool guide. I am be try passionate about getting to know children and their personalities and constructing activities and experiences that reflect their way of being in the world. I am well versed in love and logic parenting, Montessori education and Waldorf education. I also have a background in permaculture as I ran a salad farm for some time in my younger years. I really enjoy herbalism and crafting herbal remedies and I have a pretty extensive knowledge of plant based (not exclusive) recipes for nourishing growing bodies! I am passionate about physical activity whether that be in the form of dancing, walks outside, or adventuring into nature. I also enjoy playing soccer though I am not well versed on the official rules. I am looking to harmonize with a family that enjoys honest conversation and sharing in the experience of raising your incredible children. I am also looking for a family that would enjoy having my son who will be one in October tag along and engage with their child/children. I am not vaccinated due to medical reasons, but my family maintains covid safety protocols and has a very tight bubble around our world.
