With 62 percent of ballots counted, and noes on the recall leading with 67 percent of the vote, Newsom survives handily. Newsom absolutely destroyed Elder. Newsom quite literally went above and beyond all predictions. That’s what I don’t get. It’s just so obvious Elder is completely unelectable, why would they pick him? I wonder if they don’t want to win cos it would mess with their fraud narrative. But then I think, no, they’re just idiots. This might have been made easier by the fact that Larry Elder isn't just Trump, but Trump with a rabid Tasmanian devil stuck up his ass trying to claw it's way out. But I 100% agree that they should lean more into this in other such cases and really needed to be doing more of it for a long while.
