Position Details Location: Russellville, AR Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Position Description As a Shop Porter, you will ensure a safe and clean work environment in the service department, following all company policies regarding safety. You will maintain service vehicles and operate them in a safe manner. You will maintain shop area cleanliness by use of floor cleaning machine, broom, and mop and will ensure outside entrances and sidewalks are kept clean and during inclement weather, clear off any buildup of snow or ice. You will communicate with service manager/supervisor before disposing of any vehicle parts. You will also keep abreast and understand emergency plans for hazardous waste spills and ensure all company’s policies regarding the safe handling of hazardous material are followed. You will perform walk around inspection of Service Department vehicles daily and ensure all service department vehicles are kept fueled. You will also ensure all service department vehicles are kept clean, inside and out. You will participate in the pickup/delivery of customer vehicles and service supplies/parts and adhere to all service regulations in regard to driving. You will fulfill all other duties as assigned by manager.
