OVERVIEW: As a GSE Mechanic for Premier Jet Center, this position is responsible for the maintenance on ground service equipment (GSE), fleet vehicles, and fuel farm equipment while also providing minor support on routine building maintenance! REQUIREMENTS: •3+ years as an auto mechanic preferred. •Ability to use common hand and power tools. •Analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: As our sole GSE Mechanic, you’ll work independently while also collaborating daily with various departments to complete the following tasks: • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all ground service equipment and keeping accurate records •Assisting with regular maintenance on fleet including: • Fueling trucks (various types and ages) • Tugs (electric, gas and diesel) • Courtesy and work vehicles • Heat carts, GPU, and Lav carts. •Facilities Support which includes but is not limited to: • Inspecting buildings and other facility structures for recommended repairs. • Performing minor electrical maintenance including but not limited to replacement or repair fixtures. • Performing minor plumbing maintenance including but not limited to replacement or repair of hoses and/or drains. • Assisting with safety inspections.
